Thursday Morning Rights ... and Wrongs.

OK, here it is, the day for which we've all been waiting. Thanksgiving Day, the day when rivalries are celebrated and contested, and generations of fans and former athletes return to their high schools to share in the excitement of the present while reliving their past.

Remember the feeling, folks. Because if some coaches push through the new football playoff plan that would start the playoffs in October and devalue the Thanksgiving games to the point where they are anti-climactic annoyances, t… Continue

Audio Blog 29.

The Patriots are preparing to play the undefeated New Orleans Saints, but they're not too busy to get into the holiday spirit with wishes of Thanksgiving glee for one and all. Like a bad horror flick...They're baaaack!

It’s a lot like a “B” horror flick.
They hover around lights in masses, cling to your clothing and work their way into your house when you can’t close the door fast enough in the dark of night.
They’re baaaackk!
But the really scary thing is when they return in another form in the spring.
Winter moths.
Swarming through motorists’ headlight beams and alighting around holiday and porch lights, the moths are an indicator that the insect’s larvae, which does the real damage by stripping trees of the… Continue

We need to adopt this tax now. We have the restaurant base to get a real benefit. We have a deficit in town budget. Most of the meals tax payers will be from out of town. Surrounding towns have adopted it. This small tax (75 cents on a meal bill of $100) will not keep a single patron away, but will help ease the burden on the Foxborough homeowner.
