Miami-Pats hots and nots, and game notes.

Here are my print-edition hots and nots (we call it the Farinella Report, but that wasn't my choice), and the game notes as provided by the Patriots. And as a special bonus, I'll tack on the Miami game notes provided by the incomparable Harvey Greene and his PR staff...

WHO’S HOT
STEPHEN GOSTKOWSKI: Booming kickoffs. Four field goals. He even had a special-teams tackle. From a game that just didn’t seem to have a high excitement quotient, it’s only fitting to pick the kicker as the No. 1… Continue

Brady sets a record.

With a 7-yard pass to Randy Moss, Tom Brady now has 306 yards on the day -- his third 300-yard game in a row, fourth of the season, and 27th of his career, the latter a team record (besting Drew Bledsoe by one).

Thomas gets a sack.

Although I don't know why, since it was clearly a play in which a quarterback had become a runner, the 11-yard loss at the end of the quarter was changed to a sack by Adalius Thomas. It's bogus, sack-wise.

Cameras in the cars would solve so many problems on both sides. RLincoln, What are you talking about? Seriously, I'm troubled by your post. Clarify please? Imaginative ways to do away with young girls???

I do respect and like most officers that I meet its those bad apples that ruin it for the rest. In my situation they hit and then cuffed my son and charged him with assault based on the words of a drunk that had been kicked off of my property- they drunk later recanted. They did not bother to ask all the sober witnesses what was going on. A case of pure abuse of power, lack or good judgment & self control and oh add in a little bias and you have a recipe for disaster. I cried many nights after that. My faith in the Blues was crushed by the bad acts of 2. The girl in this case wasn't 100% right but the Officers were 100% wrong to injure her. If it were her Dad he would be in Jail ~!!!
