Well Michelle, if you have been following this at all you would know that NO public funds are being used.
If you took the time to read the ordinances, you will see that the city has shielded itself of any liability.
Of course the mind set of people today is to sue before knowing any facts, someone like yourself might try that approach only to be shown the ordinances.
When this is up and running, please try to find some time to visit and hopefully ease your paranoia about all the "dangerous scenarios" feel free to bring Cesar with you.
Excuse me Steve...first off...I agree...I should read the ordinances. Second of all...you will NEVER find me in that dog park. Or any dog park for that matter. I stand by my prior statements that they breed dog fights and aggression. That is my opinion. I care about the health and welfare of my animals, so they will not be guests of the park. You are more than entitled to your own as well. I genuinely hope that everything goes well and no people or animals are hurt. Additionally, I do find you extremely rude and disrespectful by stating that I would be the type of person to sue. I don't need your money or anyones elses. I am NOT that type of person, but I am realistic. I know the world is full of ignornace and people are money hungry. So please kindly keep your personal judgements to yourself. They are not appreciated and will not be tolerated. Stick to the issue at hand.
Michelle, rude and or disrespectful was not what I was going for,and I,m sorry if it came across that way. The last thing I want is for this to turn into some sort of contest. I was just responding to the comment about lawyers thinking that was the issue at hand.
I do think the city has done a great job of serving the wants of these people while protecting the others as well. I respect your decision not to support this and hope you never have to hear of any problems comming from it.
I hope you enjoy your pets as much as I do mine.
Just a quick note that there has been a website created for the Attleboro Dog Park. It's full of good information and keep it bookmarked for future updates. The site is: www.attleborodogpark.com
