Rehoboth override vote

Rehoboth voters will go to the polls on July 22 to decide on a proposed override of the state tax-limiting law Proposition 2 1/2 to fund $471,201 for the schools and agricultural preservation. Discuss your thoughts on this here in our forum.

I would have been willing to vote for the Rehoboth budget increase had it been a debt exclusion, like Mansfield recently passed.
The wording of the Rehoboth proposal is misleading, because of the way it is written makes it sound that if a voter says yes then the school will get it's money for the upcoming budget. But in truth, if a Rehoboth citizen votes yes, than our property taxes will be permantly increased year after year.
Prop 2 1/2 means permanant increase!!!
