Interesting, Jean, that it's these kinds of events, ones that bring people together, that can make all the difference in whether a community is pleasurable or not. They don't erase tax rates or potholes but they do provide balance.
It gives a feeling that the town really is about the people in it. Fun things are easily accessible and well presented, and the clean-up after volleyball is amazing. It is without doubt the most user-friendly town I've lived in, and I've l lived in a few. I feel fortunate to live here.
Okay here's my reply right off the top of my head:
1. Great schools
2. Great sports programs at all levels
3. Great public safety organizations, both Police and Fire.
There are other things I could add but the above are the top three that came to mind when I think of North Attleboro as a great place to raise a family.
I love the atmosphere, the spirit of community and charity.
I love how much care and concern is shown to the elderly, the disabled and the hungry and homeless people and animals.
I love how North Attleboro is the place God led our family to move to in order to find the help that our adult son with autism is now receiving and enjoys.
I can't say enough. This is a great place to live!
