My father's dream was to meet his cousin Ray and it came true at the Tricentennial celebration in Attleboro. I would love to see this happen for the family.

I forwarded the article to Laurie. It was brought to my attention by another Conniff cousin here in Mass. Unfortunately, I never met Ray. But when I was a girl, I wrote him a letter out of the blue - never expecting an answer. To my surprise, I received a very nice letter, written by hand. I think this indicates the type of man he was - someone who would write a lengthy, kind letter to a young person he hadn't even met.
