The Sharon Concert Band and Music Director Steve Bell will present the "Fabric of America" Concert on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 pm at Walpole High School.The program is both a tribute to and a celebration of American popular songwriting, and showcases diverse musical styles such as classical, folk, gospel and jazz.
The Band will perform arrangements from some of America's greatest composers including Aaron Copland and Leroy Anderson. Audiences will immediately recognize Copland's "Hoe Down from Rodeo" and Anderson's "Bugler's Holiday," along with the sentimental "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot", and the patriotic "America the Beautiful" and "Stars and Stripes Forever."
The "Fabric of America" Concert takes place on Saturday, November 14, 2009, 7:30 pm at Walpole High School, 257 Common Street, Walpole, MA.
