A few years back a public opinion poll found that viewers of Fox News believed the U.S. military had found weapons of mass destruction when it invaded Iraq.
Viewers of other news network knew the truth - that no WMDs had been found.
Now another poll once again shows how badly informed Fox News fans are.
The NBC-Wall Street Journal poll found that 45 percent of Fox viewers believe in Sara Palin's fantasy about Obama Death Panels in health care reform legislation.
The finding once again raises the question of whether they are so badly misinformed because Fox is distorting the news, or if the viewers simply choose to believe what they want to believe regardless of the truth.
The suspicion here is Fox News viewers go to the network wanting only information that confirms their preconceived notions and Fox is only to happy to oblige with GOP propaganda.
That is why you get some many false stories on Fox, such as Michele Obama using a "terrorist fist pump" and Barack Obama attending a Muslim school as a child.

Just to clarify (mostly from memory). Although 0bama did not attend a Muslim school, he was registered in Catholic school in Indonesia, but was registered as a Muslim. From there he attended public school, in Indonesia; a country with a predominantly "Muslim" population.

UN inspectors reported the existance of weapons, and were then thrown out if Iraq. I'll let you do the math with respect to how many UN resolutions, backed by the use of force, were violated prior to Bush entering the White House.
I've NEVER heard even of whacked-out blog-sites about the meaning of fist bumps.
The mechanism for so-called death panels are aleady in place, as it was part of the stimulus bill.
Also, unfortunately for you, rumors of 0bama's schooling, birth place etc. were debunked on FOX.

You've got a very large political bias, which should never be professed by a reporter.
Here's an idea...try being truthful, and watch jon stewart for what it is, entertainment.

If you believe that Fox news is a thruth telling network then you are one of those "who go to the network wanting only information that confirms their preconceived notions". Any objective person who checks the facts knows that Hanity, Beck and O'Rielly regularly make up things to promote their own ideology. They hate Democrats, especially progressive Democrats, and make up stories to demonize those that they dislike. What Jim says is true. If you want to watch Fox news and believe their propaganda then that is your constitutional right, but it doesn't make you objective.

Apparently the above only applies to non-employees of the Sun Chronicle especially the "accurate" part.

First - please supply the information concerning this poll. (i.e. Who conducted the poll and when?)
Second - Barack Obama did attend a Muslin school as a child. http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/muslim
